8th -14th September
Aurora will be teaching Yoga and Acro-Yoga on this 7 day Retreat hosted by barefootyoga.me
About the Practice:
A 7 day Retreat offering you a wide range of playful elements, including important principals of Acrobatics (L-basing, Partner-Acro, Dutch & Israeli Flows, Washing Machines), Monkey Business, Open Play, Contact Improvisation, Axis Syllabus and much more. The heart of this week will be about cultivating trust, strength and flexibility, within ourselves and as a community of dedicated movers.
Alongside the intensive practice (its up to you how many classes you’re going join) you will find many opportunities to spend your time outdoors. You have the chance to refresh yourself in one of the two pools, explore the surrounding nature, take an afternoon stroll to the beach or a quick ride into town, which could be Rovinj or Pula (two of the most beautiful towns in whole Croatia).
Following a variety of the morning movement improvements, you will learn how to build up the day with an important skill set. In this time of the day each one of you will find their own level and achievements. The integration and focus on handstands, L-basing (Laying Acrobatics) and S-basing (Standing Acrobatics) will be an important aspects of our daily routine. In the afternoon we dedicate our time to the playful side of moving. Elements with lesser form like Contact Improvisation and Adagio (Dance Acrobatics) will be your main game until we follow up with a feasty dinner and a final connective bodywork practice before we go to bed.

All workshops are suitable for all levels as we will work from fundamentals through to more advanced options - so no matter where you are in your yoga journey there is something for everyone!
Hips, Heels and everything in between!
Date: Saturday 13th October
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Fire up your lower body as you play with balance, finding a strong foundation through your feet and legs and while opening up your hamstrings and hips. Using breath connected core work find your stability within flexibility through flowing vinyasa and slow creative transitions.
Beginning with a fiery vinyasa flow, we will explore your hamstrings and hips, opening your lower body from a foundation of strength, to discover true control and consciousness within the whole range of movement.
Date: Saturday 13th October
Time: 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Learn how to gain access to your full spinal flexibility safely by engaging your whole body. Back bending is much more the simply “bending your back” – by building openness and strength in your shoulders, hips, legs and back access the full potential of your spine!
Beginning with a juicy heart opening vinyasa flow, Aurora will then breakdown traditional postures such as Urdhva Dhanurasana, Natarjasana, Dhanurasana and Ustrasana, showing specific drills and exercises to help access them safely and with ease. Once these foundations have been mastered you will then begin to look at more advanced variations, interesting transitions through postures such as Camel to Wheel pose, and Drop Backs.
